Kay Ritchie Sundberg

No, I didn't marry Bud Sundberg, just a cousin Fred. We met up at the U and were married for 20 years. Then I married a cute guy, Brent. We were together for 20+ years until he passed.
I enjoyed raising my 2 kids, they went to the same schools I did. That was a little weird.
I have been involved in the community serving on several boards, but my passion has been the Utah Heritage Foundation - a preservation organization. I have been a volunteer since the late 70's and on the Board of Trustees for several years. We try to preserve old buildings and such. I guess we would all qualify since anything older than 50 years is considered antique!

For the most part, school was fun. I enjoyed being in Pep Club except for the early morning practices.
Remember Mrs. Wray, an English teacher? Our senior year was her first year teaching and she wanted to be perfect. Unfortunately, her 5th period class was full of trouble makers...and we were memorable. Lots of years later we were in Junior League together and we would talk about that class. She can laugh about it now...We made quite an impression!
