Rodney was an individual who faced numerous physical challenges during his brief stay here on earth. His journey was a complex one; adjusting to these challenges, as well as hoping to gain acceptance from his peers. I, for one, apologize for not extending a hand of fellowship to him. With a better understanding of people's circumstances and more compassion in my heart for them, I find the Rodney Wimmers of the world to be the people that we should embrace as our friends.
I bet Rodney Wimmer is one of the most rememberd and known of our class, because of his challanges yet having a very loving and accepting spirit. I still remember having lunch with him on the front lawn a couple times. We were in the Holladay 1st ward with his family for years.

I'm with you on that comment, Steve. I should have got to know Rodney better.
