Kenneth (Buz) H Madsen, III died suddenly on June 20, 2008. Buz was born June 5, 1947 in Salt Lake County UT, to parents Kenneth and Afton Johnson Madsen. Buz had graduated Olympus High School in 1965. Buz was a true cowboy; he owned his first pair of red boots when he was two years old. He married Laura Lee Sorenson on October 10, 1992. Buz affectionately inherited Laura Lee's three girls that he called his three C's. He was a devoted grandpa and uncle. Buz was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his 20's and 30's he lived and worked in Star Valley, WY. One of his great loves was the outdoors. He worked in the acoustics and drywall industry since he was 16 years old and was currently a licensed drywall contractor. He was well respected in the industry. Buz will be greatly missed by family and many friends. Buz was survived by his wife, daughters, Caroline (Allen), Cassandra (Greg), Chantel (Tommy), parents, brothers, Dave (Sara), Steve (Sandy), sisters, Valerie (John), brother-in-law, Noel, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Pilling. The family thanks the IMC hospital for their devoted care. Memorial services will be held Tues., June 24 at 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Dr. The family will receive friends one hour before service.
