Greg Bostrom 1946 ~ 2006 Gregory Arthur Bostrom 59, passed away October 15, 2006 in San Diego, California, following a determined fight with cancer. Greg was born December 4, 1946 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Wynn and Wilma Bostrom. Moved to SLC in 1961 where he attended Olympus High School, class of 1965. He then attended the University of Utah before joining the U.S. Army Reserves for six years when he was honorably discharged. Greg had an intense love for his adoring wife, Dianne. Together they enjoyed traveling with their Golden Retriever, Daisy, entertaining family and friends in their beautiful home in San Diego, and the joy of each other's company. Greg had a lifelong passion for the outdoors and especially fishing with his family. Greg and his boys avidly enjoyed attending and watching Denver Broncos games. Greg will always be remembered for his caring personality, warmth, and the ease which he befriended all. His quick wit and wry sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Greg was an elder at Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church in El Cajon , CA. He is survived by his loving wife Dianne, two sons, Brian Scott and Philip Wynn, mother, Wilma, sister Monetta Smoot (Wendell) all of San Diego; brothers Douglas Wynn (Sally) from Clancy, MT; Donald Allan (Ginny) from SLC, UT. Preceded in death by his Father Wynn Barnes Bostrom from SLC. Funeral services will be held Friday October 20, 2006 at 10 a.m., Fletcher Hills Presbyterian Church 455 Church Way, El Cajon, CA. He will be laid to rest immediately following at Singing Hills Memorial Park 2800 De Hesa Road, El Cajon, CA. The family suggests donations in his name to the American Cancer Society for Bladder Cancer Research.
