Joan Morsonelli Hoggan, 46, beloved daughter of John and Marjorie Morsonelli and dearly loved sister of Shonnie Carson, passed away May 18, 1993 at home in Seattle, Washington, after a brief but valiant fight against cancer.
Joni was born January 6, 1947 in Salt Lake City and resided here until December 1991, when she moved to Seattle to be closer to her sister, Shonnie.
Joni, a graduate of Olympus High School, worked for several trucking firms as a sales coordinator, a few being F-B, PST, Prism and lastly at American Transport in Edmonds, Washington.
She is survived by her parents; son, Scott Hoggan; daughter, Kimberley Hoggan; grandson, Sean Cameron Hoggan, all of Salt Lake City; a wonderful and caring sister, Shonnie Carson; as well as a very dear and loving friend, Susan Gaudette, both of Seattle.
In addition, her wonderful charm, wit and personality brought her a host of friends and admirers who will mourn her passing.
