Georgiana Lazenby Erickson 1947 ~ 2006 Georgiana Lazenby Erickson, 59, of Sandy, passed away unexpectedly and was reunited with her eternal companion December 5, 2006. She was born on June 10, 1947 in Holladay, Utah. Georgiana attended Olympus High School. She met the love of her life, Larry Reynolds Erickson at the Sacra Dolce Choir. They were married on February 3, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They raised their family in Manteca, CA. Georgiana's life was all about her family, from her husband and children to her brother, sister, nieces and nephews. She loved her two grandchildren, Braiden and Paige, with all she had and was always concerned about their well being as well as making sure that they knew she loved them. Georgiana had a zest for life and was constantly positive and of good humor even when she was not well. Her greatest joys were serving others through the donation of afghans and blankets to shelters and charities as well as her annual Christmas ornament given to her friends and ward family members. Georgiana served diligently as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. She loved the Primary program of the church and spent the better part of her life serving in that organization. She provided love and support in quiet ways, and her kindness and genuine character will be remembered for years to come. Georgiana is survived by her daughter, Amber, son Eric (Amy); sister Bonnie (Nowell) Morris; brother, Jerold Lazenby; sisters-in-law, Maxine Stewart, Carol Anthony, and Verna (Gerald) Bennion; grandchildren Braiden and Paige. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Reynolds Erickson; parents, Lt. Colonel Arthur J. and Georgia Lazenby. Friends may call on Friday Evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr., and again at the church on Saturday morning from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
